BCs’ plea to TDP chief

The Telugu Desam has been urged to bring pressure on the state government to work for introduction of a constitutional amendment in Parliament for providing reservation to backward classes in local body elections. A delegation of AP Backward Classes Welfare Association, led by its president R.Krishnaaih, met TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence here on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to this effect. Krishnaiah said Naidu assured them that he was supporting BCs' struggle for reservation.
