The state government on Thursday appointed IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited as a consultant (transaction advisor) for the preparation of project reports and managing the bid process for identified tourist circuits in and around Visakhapatnam. The identified tourist circuits include the Tourism Park in Madhurawada, Arogyadham in Thotlakonda, Wonders of the World in Endada and International Convention Centre in Mudasarlova.
The Ministry of Tourism had earlier appointed IL&FS Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited as the national consultant for the identifcation of tourism circuits across the country. The consultant has so far identified 30 locations for the development of tourism and to improve facilities in Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam districts.
