The Congress MPs from Telangana have called upon the people of Telangana region to attend the Telangana March, ''Sagara Haaram'', scheduled for Sunday, in large numbers so as to make the protest demonstration a grand success and teach a fitting lesson to "chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is giving dubious statements on the issue of separate state".

The MPs said they would take part in the march so as to once again convey the aspirations of the 4.5 crore people of Telangana over the separate state issue to the Centre.

MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, G Vivekanand, Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Manda Jagannadham and Siricilla Rajaiah, and senior Congress leader K Kesava Rao met at the  residence of Vivekanand here on Saturday. Apart from panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC) convener Prof M Kodandaram, leaders K Swamy Goud, K Srinivas Goud and C Vittal attended the meet.

Later, speaking to reporters, the MPs appealed to Telangana activists to stage the march in a peaceful and Gandhian way.
