Rescued crocodile released into Krishna

The Forest Department officials released a crocodile aged about one and a half years into the Krishna river in Ibrahimpatnam mandal on Saturday.  Truck driver Anjaneyulu of Nalgonda rescued the crocodile from a group of villagers near Huzurnagar and handed it over to the Forest Department officials in Vijayawada on Friday evening.

The villagers said they found the 1.2m-long crocodile near a tank in their village and captured it immediately.
