Two children drowned in acanal near Kothavalasa village in the Agency area of Arakuvalley in the district today, police said.
K Balarajui (7) and K Siva Kumar (9), residents ofC-Colony in Araku valley, had gone to Kothavalasa to visittheir relatives.
The two went to the canal bank to play, and when theywent to the canal's edge to wash themselves after attending anature's call, both slipped into the water.
