Cracker blast at Kavuri rally, 1 dead

One person died and two others were injured in a cracker blast during a rally by Congress supporters near Chinavutapalli village in Gannavaram mandal in Krishna district on Tuesday. Congress supporters took out a huge rally as Eluru MP and Union minister for textiles Kavuri Sambasiva Rao left for Eluru in a convoy of over 100 cars for the first time after assuming charge.

One person died and two others were injured when fire crackers kept in a cargo autorickshaw went off suddenly. The injured were treated at the Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Hospital at Chinavutapalli. M Satyanaryana, a carpenter belonging to Krishnalanka area of Vijayawada, died in the mishap.

Another person Yerranna and truck driver Vadlamudi Pullaiah were hurt. Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and other Congress leaders expressed condolences to the affected family.
