Jai Andhra acolytes for Rs 5 lakh crore package

The Jai Andhra Rashtra Samithi has demanded that the Union government announce a package of Rs 5 lakh crore for construction of a new capital for Andhra if the state being bifurcated.

The Jai Andhra Rashtra Samithi has demanded that the Union government announce a package of Rs 5 lakh crore for construction of a new capital for Andhra if the state being bifurcated.

Jai Andhra Rashtra Samithi president Sunkara Krishna Murthy, honorary president Vasantha Nageswara Rao and others, said they have no objection to the division of Andhra Pradesh into three separate states but the government must allocate Rs  5 lakh crore for construction of a new capital between Krishna and Guntur districts.

They said there is a need to develop infrastructural facilities for the new capital with a huge investment. They have also demanded that Hyderabad be made a Union Territory.
