GRP told to keep tabs on Bangladeshi infiltrators

The IB has asked the Government Railway Police (GRP) to keep a close watch on the movement of foreigners, especially Bangladeshi nationals moving in the trains.

The exercise is being taken up in view of the increase in the suspicious movement of Bangladeshis in the country in recent times. An assistant director of the IB, who attended the ‘half yearly crime meeting’ held on Monday, said that the infiltration of Bangladeshis was increasing and stressed the need for a vigil on them. He also asked the GRP to coordinate with police, crime branch and intelligence agencies.

SRP Chief Syamprasad said he had asked GRP at Vizag, Kakinada and Nellore railway  stations there was a chance of infiltration of foreigners through seaports.
