TDP leader seeks tree plantation

TDP floor leader in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Singireddy Srinivas Reddy criticised the horticulture wing of the GHMC for not undertaking tree plantation.

In a representation to GHMC commissioner MT Krishna Babu, the TDP leader said the horticulture wing should start planting tree on either side of roads and in residential colonies.

“This is the right time. Are they planning to do it after the rainy season?” he asked. Singireddy urged the commissioner to sanction ward-wise funds for the plantation programme.
