10 labourers held, 40 gold coins seized

Thandur police on Saturday arrested 10 labourers who had found 10 gold coins a few months ago while they were working at a site under the MGNREGS. The labourers belonged to Gopalpet village.

Later, they decided to distribute the coins among them. But, differences cropped up between them over the distribution of coins and they clashed with each other to get the lion’s share.

Following the clash, the issue reached to the police who arrested all of them.
