No voting on Telangana Bill: Anam

Finance minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy admitted that there would be no voting in the Assembly on the T-bill or resolution.

Finance minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy admitted that there would be no voting in the Assembly on the T-bill or resolution.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said the bill or resolution would come for a debate in the Assembly.

“The Assembly Speaker will a send a report basing on the majority members’ opinion expressed on the floor of the House,” the finance minister said.

He, however, opined that the Centre would not take any decision against the majority opinion. Anam said though they were making every attempt to stop the process of Telangana, it was continuing.

“Despite this, we are striving hard to stop division of the state under the leadership of chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy,” he said.
