'Make Superspeciality Treatment Affordable'

VIJAYAWADA: Union minister for urban development M Venkaiah Naidu said that with the support of government, private companies should come forward to construct super speciality hospitals in the State for the welfare of people.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Heart and brain institute, Andhra Hospitals, here Saturday, he said that the services of super speciality hospitals should be affordable to the common people.

He also  appreciated the Andhra Hospital management for introducing modern equipments for the first time in the city.

Health minister Kamineni Srinivas, social welfare minister Ravela Kishore Babu, deputy speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad, MP Kesineni Srinivas, Central MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, hospital managing directors Dr PV Ramana Murthy, PV Rama Rao, Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana Rao, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan are among others who participated in the programme.
