IT Company Seeks Land in Eluru

ELURU: Horizon Computers managing partner E Venkataramana Prasad promised to start an IT hub here if the government provides 2.5 acres of land.

Submitting a proposal to collector Katamaneni Bhaskar here Monday, Venkataramana said 400 jobs could be provided to the unemployed youth. Many IT companies had evinced interest to open their offices in Eluru, he said. The proposed hub will be named as Simax Infocity Imaginary Concept of Software Hub.  Horizon Computers was started in 2010 and has been running successfully.

Colleges from this area churn out thousands of engineers every year who are in search of jobs. Responding to it, the collector said that the government was ready to encourage IT firms and promised to do the needful.
