Mahila Samiti Members Tie Rakhi to Plants

VISAKHAPATNAM: As part of ‘Go Green’ drive, president of Visteel Mahila Samiti (VMS) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) Preeti Roy, secretary R Wilson and other executive committee members planted flower-bearing saplings in the township. As part of a symbolic gesture, the president and other members tied rakhis to the plants and took a vow to protect them.

Later, the VMS members visited Mandal Parishad Primary School, Sundarayya Colony, Gajuwaka and distributed books, slates and other material to the students.
