VISAKHAPATNAM: On the occasion of the 70th birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, the Waltair division of the Railways observed the Sadbhavana (good feelings for others) Diwas or Harmony Day here Wednesday. Divisional railway manager Anil Kumar was the chief guest at the programme.
On the occasion, Anil Kumar administered a pledge to all the railway staff to work for harmony in society. Officers and staff of all the departments, units and stations in the Waltair division participated. The division observes the day every year to promote national integration, peace, love, affection and communal harmony among the Indian people of all religions.
