VMS’ Gesture to Orphan Kids

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visteel Mahila Samiti (VMS) honorary president Gouri Annapurna and president Preeti Roy handed over a cheque to Sri Sai Seva Trust of Ukkunagaram towards the educational expenses of five orphan children under their care at a function held here Friday.

On the occasion, the VMS executive committee members distributed 150 saplings, as part of their ongoing drive to encourage tree planting, in an effort to ensure a cleaner and greener environment.  The endeavour was made possible with the help of the horticulture wing of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

VMS vice-presidents Bindoo Mohapatra, Rama Devi and DVP Saroja, secretary R Wilson and Sai Seva Trust managing trustee G Ramakrishna were present.
