VISAKHAPATNAM: Traffic restrictions will be imposed at Sri Sampath Vinayak temple in Asilmetta on Friday from 6 am to 10 pm, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebrations.
The police advised public to avoid the stretch from Hotel Tycoon junction to Asilmetta junction which will be closed for vehicles all through the day.
No Vehicles will be allowed on the stretch and those plying via Sri Sampath Vinayak temple, will take a de tour from Asilmetta junction towards Rama Talkies junction, Mosque junction, VIP Road, Hotel Tycoon junction towards Siripuram junction. The buses will be diverted via the same route at Hotel Tycoon junction in the reverse direction.
Devotees can park their vehicles on the GVMC office road and the NIIT road to visit the temple. People coming to the temple from Siripuram junction will be allowed to park their vehicles on the stretch between the municipal commissioner’s bungalow and Sri Prakash School opposite the temple.
