Make Use of Schemes, CM Tells People

KUPPAM (CHITTOOR):CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu exhorted the people in Kuppam constituency to utilise the poverty alleviation and welfare schemes initiated by the State Government to the fullest and set Kuppam as a perfect example of development for other constituencies of the state.

He addressed various officials, including that of Janmabhoomi committee, as part of Disa Nirdasa Sadassu here in Shantipuram in Kuppam on Thursday evening. As part of the programme, he also laid foundation stone for five different projects, namely a junior college in Raallaboodhuguru, 10 km away from Shantipuram; black-top and cement roads throughout the constituency; including two market yards each in Ramakuppam and Kuppam. He addressed various officials, including Janmabhoomi Committee. For streamlining, the state of affairs, he directed Sarpanch, MPP, ZPTC and other officials of Panchayati Raj to be available to the common man.

Naidu said that there must be productive discussions in all households. “Every person must raise voice if they come across any irregularity,” he said. As part of the programme, he also flagged off first-of-its-kind Vijaya Vajra packaged processed milk to all Anganwadi Centres under Anna Amrutha Hastham. The gathering dispersed after Naidu sought reviews of flagship schemes from the beneficiaries.
