VISAKHAPATNAM : The City Task Force (CTF) arrested eight persons on charge of gambling and betting activities at Dorathota area of Bheemili Sunday night. They also seized `2,30,470, a car, three bikes and eight mobile phones from them.
According to police reports, after a tip-off, the CTF team under the supervision of assistant commissioner of police (ACP), CTF, I Chittibabu raided the gambling den under a mango tree near AMG College at Dorathota. The police caught the eight gamblers red handed and seized the staked money, an Indigo car, three bikes and eight mobile phones. The arrested persons along with the seized property were handed over to the Bheemili Police station. Cases have been registered and investigation is on.
