VISAKHAPATNAM: Medical and health services department of Simhadri Super Thermal Power Plant of NTPC in association with Red Cross Society organised a voluntary blood donation camp Tuesday at Jeevan Rekha Hospital at Simhadri township Deepanjalinagar. SSTPP group general manager AK Samanta inaugurated the camp.
Doctors of Simhadri headed by Chief Medical Officer Soumitra Bardhan, and the team of Indian Red Cross Society, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, representatives of NTPC Mazdoor Union and executives association, office-bearers and members of Deepika Ladies Club and a large number of residents of Deepanjalinagr were present.
As many as 110 volunteers from various wings of the Simhadri plant donated blood on the occasion.
