ATS Octopus Joins Suryapet Investigation

 NALGONDA/HYDERABAD: Even as the two assailants who gunned down a constable and a home guard at the Suryapet bus-station are still at large, the state police, who initially pointed fingers at gangsters from Uttar Pradesh, are now not ruling out the possibility of ‘terror angle’ to the killings.

“Our probe is open and being done in all angles, right from the involvement of hired assassins to terrorists,” a senior official said. Interestingly, the anti-terror squad, Octopus, has also joined the investigation, highly-placed sources told Express.
