VIJAYAWADA:The city police recovered a body of a 57-year-old man here at Eluru Locks bus-stop Saturday.
According to Governorpet SI V Srinivasa Rao, the locals informed the police about a body lying near the bus stop. The police immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the body. They found a mobile phone in the pocket of the deceased. The cop rang up the last dialled number which turned out to be the deceased’s relative, P Lakshman Rao, and informed him about the death.
The deceased was identified as L Viswaroopachari, who hails from Hyderabad. He went missing since the last few days from his residence as he was mentally ill. The body was handed over to Lakshman Rao.
