YSRC MLA Justifies Pattiseema

HYDERABAD: In what could be seen as an embarrassment for YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, his party MLA Chadipiralla Adinarayana Reddy (Jammalamadugu) praised the efforts of Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to construct Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Project, which is being opposed by Jagan.

“Diverting the flood waters from Godavari River to Rayalaseema through Pattiseema is essential and funds have to be released for it,” Adinarayana Reddy, who represents Jammalamadugu Assembly segment in Kadapa district, the native of the YSRC boss Jagan, said on Monday.

Stating that diverting Godavari water to Rayalaseema region needs to be appreciated, the MLA further said the numerous projects in Rayalaseema would get abundant water from the Pattiseema project that could take the region back to irrigation mode and solve the water problems of the people of the region.
