Sale of Tickets for IPL Matches Begin

VISAKHAPATNAM:The IPL cricket fever has gripped the city with the Sun Risers team starting its practice session in the Port City. The matches will be played at ADA-VDCA stadium of PM Palem here. The authorities have started the sale of tickets online for the three matches the city is hosting, Tuesday from 12 pm. The tickets will also be available at select centres from Wednesday from 11 am. A counter will be opened at the stadium for ticket sales on Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm.

The retail outlets for sale of tickets have been set up at CMR Central Maddilapalem, CMR Gajuwaka, CMR Gopalapatnam, CMR Judge Court and MVR Mall. Tickets are sold online on www.bookmyshow.com. The Sun Risers will play three matches on April 16, 18 and 22 in Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, the matches will be held in Hyderabad on May 2, 11, 15 and May 17. Ticket prices range from Rs 600 to Rs 2,000.
