TULLUR:Municipal administration minister P Narayana has said efforts are being made to implement the loan waiver scheme for the capital region farmers.
Interacting with farmers in Mandadam village of Tullur mandal on Sunday, the minister said he will camp in the capital region for a fortnight to sort out various issues pertaining to farmers and lands. He said any farmer can get their doubts clarified by approaching the CRDA office, where a special desk has been created for the purpose.
The minister said if any additional land is required, it will be acquired as per norms and there is no need for anyone to worry about. He said first phase plans for the new capital city are being finalised and they will be unveiled in the second week of May.
On the occasion, Narayana was given a agreement letter by a farmer Venkateswara Rao transferring his right over 100 acres. The minister himself drove the tractor to level the land handed over to the government for the first few acres.
