VIJAYAWADA: Police on Monday registered a case against a woman applicant of a postal job for malpractice in the exam hall using ‘WhatsApp’ in her mobile phone at Kanchikacherla in Krishna district, here on Monday.
According to the sources, Galla Swathi had applied for the post of postperson and attended the exam at Amrita Sai Institute of Science and Technology in Kanchikacherla. “With WhatsApp installed in her smart phone, Swathi took pictures of question paper and sent them to her friend and the phone was locked, so we are yet to find out to whom she communicated,” said Kanchikacherla SI AVS Rama Krishna told Express. Cops have booked her AP Public (Prevention of Malpractice and Unfair Means) Act.
