VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) met Tata Trust chairman Ratan Tata in Mumbai and sought his help for micro planning and development of 264 villages in Nandigama, Tiruvur, Mylavaram and Jaggaiahpet assembly segments of Vijayawada Parliament constituency. In a press release, the MP said on his request, Ratan Tata had agreed to lend his support for the development of these villages.
The villages are being developed with funds from both Parliamentary Constituency development funds. Tata Trust will plan basic infrastructure development and skill development of people in these villages, the MP said.
