TD Sanctifies Krishnaveni Statue

VIJAYAPURA: TDP workers, led by party’s city convener Buddha Venkanna, performed ‘Palabhishekam’ to the statue of Goddess Krishnaveni at Prakasam Barrage and washed the place where YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy had addressed the gathering Thursday.

“Jagan had no moral right to visit here and claim to be championing the cause of farmers,” Venkanna said and wondered why Jagan, who is from Rayalaseema, was bent on stopping the Pattiseema project, which is meant to facilitate Krishna water to the drought-prone region.
