VIJAYAWADA: TDP workers, led by party’s city convener Buddha Venkanna, performed ‘Palabhishekam’ to the statue of Goddess Krishnaveni at Prakasam Barrage and washed the place where YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy had stood and addressed the gathering during his visit to Prakasam Barrage on Thursday.
“Jagan had no moral right to visit the place and claim to be championing the cause of farmers. It was his family who made Jala Yagnam a Dhana Yagnam,” Venkanna said and wondered why Jagan, who hails from Rayalaseema, was hell bent on stopping the Pattiseema project, which is meant to facilitate Krishna water to the drought-prone region.
