VISAKHAPATNAM : Eisai Pharmaceuticals India Pvt Ltd Thursday announced the amalgamation of Vizag-based Eisai Pharmatechnology and Manufacturing Pvt Ltd and Eisai Pharmaceuticals India Pvt Ltd located in Mumbai, which are two subsidiaries of the Tokyo-based Eisai Company Ltd, to become a new entity - Eisai Pharmaceuticals India Private Limited.
Eisai India MD Sanjit Singh Lamba said that the merger of the two subsidiaries was completed to leverage the capability of Eisai India’s state-of-the art integrated research and manufacturing operations with its specialised sales force to meet its business objectives in India.
Eisai Company Limited is a global research and development-based pharmaceutical company committed to improving global access to medicines over the medium-term to long-term through partnership strategies.
