Naidu Wowed Chinese Leaders: Parakala

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to China received an overwhelming response and it was significant in regard to investments in Andhra Pradesh, more so in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Communist country in May, said Parakala Prabhakar, communications advisor to AP Government here Sunday.

Interacting with mediapersons here, Prabhakar said the Chief Minister had visited China on the invitation of the government there and during his six-day visit six important leaders, including vice-premier and Beijing mayor had held discussions with him.

Prabhakar said Chinese leaders and industry captains looked well aware of the stance of opposition parties, financial situation and other issues.

“The CM’s presentation on various aspects including investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh had impressed the leaders and investors there. It was reflected in the venues of three round tables held in the country. Several pertinent questions were posed and many expressed their intention to partner with the state government in developmental works, more so in the Capital region,” he said.
