VISAKHAPATNAM: The Fleet B won the Eastern Command Volleyball Championship 2014-15 Friday which was conducted at ENC Indoor Volleyball Court here from April 20 to 24. The Local Ashore B team was runners up. The championship is annually conducted to espirit-de-corps and strengthen the healthy competitive spirit. among various teams. The opportunity was also utilised to select the ENC team for the forthcoming Navy Volleyball Championship scheduled at Kochi next month. Seven teams from the Eastern Fleet, the Local Shore units, Local Flotilla Ships, Submarines and Chennai-based units participated in the tournament, which was held on league-cum-knockout basis.
