Three Durga Temple Staffers Sacked

VIJAYAWADA: Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam has removed from duty three of its staff members - sanitary inspector T Rajani Priya and sanitray maistry, K Srinivasa Rao - after it has come to its notice that they were responsible for poor sanitation at Durga Ghat and on the hill.

According to an official release, AEO B Venkata Reddy had sought an explanation from them. He also sought explanation from DEE L Rama and assistant executive engineer Vikhyat on why patch works and petty works had not been done properly at Durga ghat.
