RAJAHMUNDRY:Tension prevailed when the activists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a dharna in front of Hotel Sheltol protesting the remarks made by cine actor Sivaji against BJP leader Somu Veerraju here on Sunday evening.
The dharna forced the actor to stay put in the Hotel for three hours.
The BJP leaders demanded an apology for the tollywood star for criticising BJP top leaders. Later, police convinced BJP leaders to call off the protest.
BJP leaders KB Singh, B Dutt, YR Babu, AR Krishna, N Padmasri and many others were present.
