VISAKHAPATNAM: As announced in the Railway budget, trains 58505/58506 Gunupur-Visakhapatnam-Gunupur passenger (daily) trains will begin with the inaugural run of 58505 Gunupur-Visakhapatnam Passenger at 6 pm on February 9.
Union railway minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu will flag off the train by remote flagging from New Delhi. The train on February 9 will run as passenger special in open path timings with stoppages at all stations and passenger halts between Gunupur and Visakhapatnam. These pair of trains will run as per schedule published in the timetable with effect from February 10.
The Visakhapatnam-Gunupur Passenger (58506) will leave Visakhapatnam at 7 am, arrive at/depart Naupada Junction at 10.20/10.50 am and reach Gunupur at 1.55 pm the same day. The Gunupur-Visakhapatnam Passenger (58505) will leave Gunupur at 2.25 pm, arrive at/depart Naupada Junction at 5/5.25 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 9.40 pm the same day. Both trains will stop at Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kothavalasa, Vizianagaram, Garividi, Cheepurupalle, Ponduru, Srikakulam Road, Urlam, Tilaru, Kotabommali, Naupada Junction and all passenger halts between Naupada Junction and Gunupur.
