VIJAYAWADA:To match the demand for architects in view of the projected boom in the construction sector in AP, particularly in the capital region, KL University will offer a five-year Bachelor of Architecture course from this academic year.
According to university vice-president Koneru Raja Harin, admissions to this course will be made on the basis of ranks of the students in architecture in JEE Mains-2015. The students who secure more than 80 per cent marks in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) are also eligible for admission to the course. As many as 40 seats are available for the course.
This apart, the university will also offer a five-year BBA LLB course from this academic year. Those who have obtained 55 per cent or more marks in Intermediate MPC, MEC or CEC are eligible for admission. There are 60 seats in the course.
The university will offer degree courses in Fine Arts (four years), Visual Communications, Animation and Photography from this academic year.
