Three Held for Selling Fake Idols

VISAKHAPATNAM: A The City Task Force (CTF) police arrested three persons on charges of cheating and selling fake antique and panchaloha idols here Wednesday. The arrested are: K Ravi, R Ramu of Vizianagaram mandal and R Trinadh Kumar of Visakhapatnam. The police have seized two antique idols.

According to ACP (CTF) I Chittibabu, the CTF raided a house at Balayya Sastry Layout on a tip-off about the trio indulging in selling fake antique and panchaloha idols to a person at Seethammadhara, and recovered two idols.

The arrested persons and the idols were handed over to the Fourth Town police station. Police have registered cases and are investigating.
