Phone Tapping Case: SIT Quizzes 8

VISAKHAPATNAM:The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Andhra Pradesh is now in Visakhapatnam to probe  the alleged phone tapping by the Telangana government. The team has reportedly gathered information from those who lodged a complaint against Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao in the city after having discussions with the local police.

A total of six cases at III Town Police Station of the city, Anakapalle, Narsipatnam, Paykaraopeta, Chodavaram and Paderu were filed against the Telangana CM for allegedly tapping the phone of Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu.

It is learnt that eight members, including TDP leader Sanapala Panduranga Rao, were questioned by the SIT members over reasons to file the case. Police sources said that the SIT summoned the complainants to a guest house near Kailasagiri.
