VIJAYAWADA: Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanams invites people’s representatives, politicians and devotees for the social audit of its various departments to be held on the temple premises on July 18.
However, since only a limited number of people, that is 5-9 people can be accommodated in the social audit meeting, those interested are requested to contact temple officials on 94402 29594, 91009 49506, 90000 30477 and 91009 49505. Shortlisted names will be invited for the programme.
It is for the first time that a temple is conducting a social audit to ensure greater transparency in its functioning. A couple of days ago, temple EO Ch Narasinga Rao had posted a 60-page ‘social audit’ document for the month of July on the temple website. www.durgamma.com.
