Cardiologists' Meet in City on July 18, 19

VIJAYAWADA:  The first-ever workshop of the AP Cardiologists’ Society of India will be held on July 18 and 19 at Haai Land, near Chinakakani, in Guntur district, organising secretary Dr A Poornanand said in a statement here on Thursday.

The purpose of the workshop would be to promote awareness among doctors, medical students and people on the latest trends in treatment of heart ailments.

Medical and health minister Kamineni Srinivas will attend the workshop as chief guest, Poornanand said.

About 150 cardiologists and PG students are expected to turn up for the workshop, Dr Poornanand said.
