VISAKHAPATNAM: Enacting business-friendly laws is the need of the hour if the reduction of taxes at once is not possible, said Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha member K Haribabu at an interactive meet, organised by APCCIF here Saturday.
Haribabu promised to take up the issues raised with both the state and the Central governments to develop Vizag into the economic capital of the state.
Higher officials of the industries from the ports, manufacturing, health care, hotel industry, CREDAI, small and medium enterprises, voiced major issues affecting their businesses.
APCCIF vice-president G Sambasiva Rao said that ease of doing business means reduction of cost escalation and lessen burden with single window clearance for setting up more industries which will propel the region’s economy and prosperity.
