2 Pilgrims Die, 4 Hurt in Road Mishap

SRIKAKULAM:Two died on the spot and four were severely injured in a road accident on the national highway near Patrunivalasa village of Srikakulam rural mandal Sunday. According to the police, both the families of Palasa went to take a holy dip in the Godavari by a car.

While returning from Rajahmundry at Patrunivalasa village the vehicle hit one RTC bus whose driver applied a sudden brake. The deceased has been identified as P Siva Kumar (45) and P Satyanarayana (65).

The four injured including driver of the vehicle are undergoing treatment in Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences in Srikakulam. The police have registered a case and are presently investigating for more details.
