MRPS Activists Try to Disrupt TDP Meeting

KARIMNAGAR:  Demanding that SC categorisation resolution be passed in the AP Assembly, MRPS activists tried to disrupt AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s meeting here on Tuesday.

While Naidu was addressing the party workers, MRPS activists, who have already entered the meeting venue with MRPS flags, suddenly raised slogans on SC categorisation.

The MRPS activists managed to enter the premises even as police kept a tight vigil on the party activists anticipating trouble. Several of the MRPS leaders including Manda Krishna Madiga were house arrested but it did not dither some activists to sneak inside and raise slogans. Enraged over the disruption, the TDP  workers thrashed MRPS activists and chased them away even as Naidu asked his party activists not to beat them. Naidu ensured that he would deliver justice to Madigas.

Earlier, while Naidu was proceeding to Ambedkar Stadium from Timmapur, some MRPS activists tried to protest before Naidu’s convoy but police intervened and arrested them.
