Underperforming Ministers on Notice

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is learnt to have hinted at a possible reshuffle of the Cabinet after the completion of the budget session of the Assembly, which will begin on March 7. While expressing his displeasure yet again over underperformance of some of his colleagues, Naidu is understood to have told them that based on their performance in the ensuing budget session of the Assembly, he would decide whom to retain and whom to drop.

During the Cabinet meeting here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister is learnt to have reviewed the ongoing schemes of the government and also the performance of his colleagues.

“Some of the ministers are still unable to perform up to my expectations. I am not at all happy over the way some of you are still trying to get to grips with your departments,” Naidu reportedly said in the Cabinet meeting.
