TIRUMALA: Labour and sports minister K Atchennaidu announced that four international stadiums will be set up in the state within a year, one each at Vijayawada, Guntur, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. He visited Tirumala along with his family members on Thursday evening and interacted with the local media.
While the groundwork for establishing the international stadiums was already completed, the construction work would be finished within three months. Meanwhile, the government was allotting about `1,000 crore for sports in the budget this fiscal, he said.
