VIJAYAWADA: Gandham Chandrudu assumed charge as joint collector of Krishna district on Thursday. He earlier worked as additional commissioner of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).
Speaking to mediapersons on the occasion, he said his two months stint as CRDA additional commissioner had given him an opportunity to study Krishna district. He said he will work in tandem with district collector and help in speedy and effective implementation of various government programmes.
He said now they are focusing on land acquisition for airport expansion and Machilipatnam seaport.
