HYDERABAD: Describing governor ESL Narasimhan’s speech, delivered during the joint session of AP StateLegislature, as a bundle of lies, Opposition leader and YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that the governor’s speech was far from truth and misleading.

“The governor’s speech is full of lies. It was aimed at misleading the people of the state,” he told reporters on the Assembly premises here Saturday. Jagan also termed the government’s claim that the farmers in the AP capital region voluntarily gave their lands for the new capital false. The TDP government was forcefibly taking away the fertile agricultural lands from farmers. I’d like to know whether farmers in the capital region really surrendered their lands voluntarily. The government should tell whether it is not half truth or a lie,”he said.
