VISAKHAPATNAM : A 29-year-old woman was found dead in her house, a watchman’s cabin in Sri Venkata Sree Rama Residential Apartments at Akkayapalem Monday. The deceased has been identified as T Satyavathi, a native of Chandrammapeta village of Nellimerla mandal in Vizianagaram and resident of Akkayyapalem. She was the wife of the apartment’s watchman.

Sources said that Satyavathi was married to T Guru Naidu, a native of Garividi of Vizianagaram, 14 years ago. Guru Naidu has been working as a watchman for the last four years. On Monday, Guru Naidu reached home after some personal work at Vizianagaram at 12 pm and found his wife lying unconscious on the bed. He went to the house of Satyavathi’s sister Gowri, and told her about the condition of his wife and brought her home. The duo intimated other family members and the police about Satyavathi’s death.

IVth Town inspector KV Balakrishna, along with his team rushed to the spot and enquired about the incident. The family members said that the couple didn’t have any disputes. The police told newsmen that no injury marks were found on the body and the deceased was asthmatic. However, they have interrogated the family members of the deceased, including her husband.

“The body was shifted to KGH for autopsy and the report would be out Tuesday. That would tell us if it’s murder, suicide or death due to asthma. We have filed a suspicious death case,” Balakrishna added. The couple are survived by two sons - T Ganesh (8), a Class VI student and T Murali Krishna (6), studying Class II.
