CPI National Meet from March 25

VIJAYAWADA: The Communist Party of India (CPI) national convention, to be held in Puducherry for four days from March 25, will focus on how to combat increasing saffronisation in the country posing a threat to democracy and the secular fabric of the country, said CPI Vijayawada city secretary D Shankar. He said though the people gave Modi their mandate, his government is pursuing policies they had not expected. Saffronisation mixed with corporatisation will ruin the country and widen the gap between haves and have-nots, he alleged.
