KLU Student Bags Medals at Archery Event

VIJAYAWADA: Jyothi Surekha who won one gold in individual category and two bronze medals in the women’s compound category at the 2015 Asia Cup Stage II archery tournament held in Bangkok from March 16 to 21 was felicitated by the KL University.

KLU Student.jpgShe defeated Amaya of Philippines with 142-140 points and bagged gold medal in the individual category. With sportsmen Vikas from Punjab state in  mixed team event final, she defeated the Philippines with a score 153-155 points and won bronze medal. KLU vice-president K Raja Harin, KLU principal A Anand Kumar and registrar T Umamaheswara Rao were present.
